Identifying Research and Education Priorities

MSU faculty and MSU Extension (MSUE) and Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station (MAES) staff members will be asked to respond to a survey designed to identify ways that MSU can better respond to future needs for research and education in Michigan. The issues listed on the survey will be identified through a series of on-campus focus groups in the fall of 2005. Faculty and staff member involvement is important in helping the MAES and MSUE define research and educational priorities for the future. The new plan, to be completed in the spring of 2006, will generate more specific research efforts and program direction for faculty and staff as they address the priority needs of people across Michigan.
