Prioritizing Issues and Opportunities for Research and Extension

What are the issues and opportunities that you think should be addressed by Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station research and MSU Extension educational programs? This question will be posed in community based discussions in every Michigan county during the early part of 2006. Local priorities will be identified by MSUE councils, MAES advisory committees and other local residents. An additional tool for gathering local input is a Web-based survey for county residents (see link below). County Extension directors will coordinate local processes using the tools and resources on this page. County teams, including MAES Field Station managers, will synthesize the results and submit the finalized priorities. Counties should submit information by March 31, 2006.
